hi, nice to meet you!
Innovative, Collaborative, Insightful — a multidisciplinary designer bridging communication and cognitive science to craft meaningful interactions.
👋 Hello there! I'm Shuchang(Tony), a dual-degree holder with a B.A. in Communication and a B.S. in Cognitive Science with a Specialization in Design & Interaction from UC San Diego. My journey in UX design is fueled by a dedication to inclusivity and the pursuit of intuitive user experiences.
I'm committed to leveraging my diverse academic background to understand and improve the way people engage with technology. My approach to design marries structured guidelines with the flexibility to explore, allowing for innovation and unexpected solutions to emerge.
In every project, I prioritize teamwork, adaptability, and a relentless quest for user-centric design. I see each challenge as a learning opportunity, constantly expanding my skill set and striving for designs that resonate on a human level.

hobbies
Photography, particularly street photography, is a passion of mine, where I relish in capturing life's fleeting moments with my camera. Also, I have a keen interest in East Asian philosophy and Chinese medicine. An active lifestyle is important to me, encompassing snowboarding, tennis, swimming, etc. One of my new year resolution is to go out and exercise more. I want to catch up with mine Hapkido practice at the school's martial arts club. Additionally, I am eager to learn Japanese to expand my linguistic skills.
